Roberto Rovira was among four finalists for the 2017 Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture.

The American Academy in Rome is the oldest American overseas center for independent study and advanced research in the arts and humanities. Each year, through a national juried competition, the Academy offers approximately 30 Rome Prize fellowships.

For over a century, the American Academy in Rome has awarded the Rome Prize to support innovative and cross-disciplinary work in the arts and humanities. Rome Prize Fellowships include a stipend, room and board, and individual work space at AAR’s eleven-acre campus in Rome.
