PRESENTATION AT AIAS SOUTH QUAD
Roberto Rovira presented “New Alliances: Crafting a new vision for Landscape Architecture in the 21st century through the New Landscape Declaration” as part of the 2017 AIAS South Conference in Miami Beach on 31MAR2017.
The talk discussed the Landscape Architecture Foundation’s New Landscape Declaration and its meaning for critical landscape architecture practice where collaborations and intersections with art, technology and design are indispensable in giving artistic physical form and integrated function to the ideals of equity, sustainability, resiliency and democracy.
The AIAS is the student counterpart of the AIA. 43 universities and 12 states participated in the “South Quad” regional conference in Miami in 2017.
